The Apex combines proprietary Princeton Tec optics and a high output, 3-watt Luxeon LED for an incredibly long-range LED headlamp. For wide area illumination and longer running time, select the array of 4 standard LEDs. The Apex is current regulated for constant light output, and the proprietary heat regulation system allows a brighter light and a longer burn time. Two switches allow independent control of the 3-watt LED or the LED array. Includes a battery power meter. The CMC version of the Apex offers three mounting options: the standard elastic headband, a super sticky rubber headband that is great for water rescue, and a Velcro patch for a more permanent mount.
